Franklin Mason has been working with Partners since 2018, transitioning from the role of Accounting Associate to his current position as Programs Accounting Specialist. In his current role, Franklin specializes in financial correspondence for PCG’s Economic Justice Partnership (EJP) Fund and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) programs. In addition he leads renewals and compliance for PCG’s CDN investor portfolio.
Before joining Partners, Franklin worked as a Bookkeeper for HighMark Financial Solutions, LLC. In this role, he was responsible for preparing and recording monthly journal entries for three separate community clients, completing monthly reconciliation using QuickBooks, tracking and entering bi-weekly payroll for a small-sized non-profit, and co-managing client files by reviewing monthly bank statements and reports, detailed expense tracking, and organizing physical financial documents. Franklin has also held other positions, including Project Associate for Make The World Better (MTWB) Foundation. In this role, he successfully planned and executed MTWB's annual benefit concert, which attracted over 5,000 people and raised over $200,000. Additionally, he worked as a Development Associate for Pennsylvania Prison Society, where he tracked and recorded over $100,000 in donations from customers using Donation Director.
Franklin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, Fox School of Business. Franklin has served as a board member for Gay Professional Men of Color (GPMC). In his off time Franklin enjoys sport where he is an active member of Stonewall Dodgeball.
