Riley is a program manager committed to advancing the mission of community development banks through strategic policy, advocacy, and data-driven storytelling. He first joined CDBA in 2022 as a policy associate, contributing to advocacy campaigns, policy analysis, and communications projects that highlighted member banks’ collective impact.
After a year in southern Belize with Ya’axché Conservation Trust — a community-based organization focused on sustainable land management and forest conservation — he returned to CDBA to expand programs that connect policy research, communications, and impact data for members and stakeholders. His current work includes producing reports and materials shared with congressional and agency offices and advising member banks on strategies to communicate their outcomes and community impact.
He holds a B.S. in environmental studies from the University of Richmond and has worked internationally at the intersection of policy, finance, and conservation. Outside of work, he enjoys distance running, rock climbing, and birdwatching.
