The Milwaukee Academy of Science (MAS) is a STEM-focused charter school with partnerships in the business community. The borrower, Milwaukee Science Education Consortium, Inc., will use these loan funds to acquire and renovate a larger existing school building several blocks from its current campus, allowing the school to increase its enrollment by 590 students. 

All MAS students are eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch and 99 percent identify as Black. Ten percent of students receive special education services. MAS prepares students to achieve greater employment opportunities and post-secondary success after graduating.
