Capital for Change is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Capital for Change was established in 2016 as a commitment to provide comprehensive community development lending throughout Connecticut. This commitment to community development allows them the flexibility to participate in filling gaps in community stability and revitalization efforts, particularly in the neighborhoods that are the most sensitive to economic disruption.
Our Mission:
Capital for Change provides community development capital and services that create and preserve affordable housing, expand housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents, invest in job- and wealth-creating small businesses, and support community-centered non-profit organizations; with an emphasis on equity, inclusiveness and environmental sustainability.
