Bridgeway was founded in 1990 after the collapse of the region’s steel industry to combat injustices and advance opportunities in communities devastated by disinvestment and lack of viable jobs. We believe that impact-driven lending can transform underserved areas by making capital and support resources accessible to those denied economic opportunities. Bridgeway works to combat injustices and advance opportunities by building capacity, investing capital, and developing underserved areas to grow businesses and revitalize places.
